Most cam sites run on a virtual currency, and many call it tokens. LiveJasmin, the platform behind our live grids, calls it credits, and one credit is roughly worth 1 USD. Here’s what credits buy, which prices are fixed, and how to spend them smartly.

Tokens vs credits: what changes

Tokens and credits do the same job: one unit, used inside the platform, for the things you pay for. The practical difference is the conversion. The platform’s own knowledge base values one credit at roughly 1 USD, so a price in credits reads almost directly as a price in dollars: 2.49 credits per minute is roughly $2.49 a minute.

Where credits go

• Private shows, billed per minute at the model’s own rate, with minimums of 2.49 credits for established models, 1.99 for newbies and 0.98 by default during a new model’s promotion period. On the morning of October 14, 2026, the 435 models online charged 0.98 (31 models), 1.99 (42), 2.49 (157, the most common rate and the median), 2.99 (118), 3.49 (28), 3.99 (41), 4.49 (3), 4.99 (10), 5.99 (3), 9.99 (1) or 15.99 (1). Cam2Cam and Two-Way Audio can each add up to 3 credits per minute.
• Surprises, the platform’s word for tips, sent in Free Chat, private shows, Video Calls and VIP Shows, or offline through Messenger (see our tipping guide).
• Action Requests, the closest thing to a tip menu: Free Chat actions priced by the model up to 10 credits (Light), 100 (Regular) or 1,000 (Complex).
• Toy patterns, from one fixed table of 12: Buzz costs 1 credit for 1 second, Armageddon 1,000 credits for 120 seconds.
• VIP Show buy-ins, set by the model at 3 credits or more (1 or more for newbies).
• Fan Club subscriptions to one model: 4.99, 24.99, 39.99 or 79.99 credits a month (see our fan club guide).
• My Content: premium albums and videos at 3 to 100 credits each.
• Messenger: 1.50 to 3.00 credits per message you send an established model, 0.50 to 3.00 for a newbie.

Toy patterns and Fan Club tiers cost the same in every room, and Surprises are voluntary; the other prices are set by each model within the platform’s limits, so two rooms side by side can price the same thing differently.

The mental math that keeps you in control

One habit beats all others: convert credit prices back to real money before spending. Do the multiplication before a private, not after: 10 minutes at 2.49 credits per minute is about 25 credits, and adding Cam2Cam at its 3-credit maximum brings the same 10 minutes to about 55. Second habit: set a monthly budget in credits, as you would for any entertainment, and keep a running total against it.

Common credit mistakes to avoid

• Spending before knowing your tastes. Spend a few evenings in free rooms first: anyone can watch Free Chat, and models aren’t allowed to ask you for credits.
• Spending to be noticed instead of to enjoy. Recognition comes from regular, pleasant presence, not from one dramatic Surprise.
• Sending on autopilot. A Surprise sent by mistake is “rarely refundable”, so check the amount before it goes.
• Buying more mid-session on impulse. If you hit your limit, that was your budget working.

Buying credits safely

Only ever buy credits on the platform itself, and ignore outside sites selling “cheap credits” or promising a credit generator: those schemes are built to steal accounts and card details. Models must never ask members for Surprises, credits or money, and exchanging contact details is prohibited, so anyone pushing you to pay outside the platform is breaking the rules.
